The House

Drenkova house is located in one of the most beautiful Bulgarian villages and an architectural reserve – Kovachevitsa. It has preserved the warmth and cosiness of the traditional Bulgarian houses and will enchant you with its Renaissance architecture and timeless spirit.

The house has been built entirely of natural materials – stone and wood. There is a wonderful view of the village, the surroundings and the incredibly beautiful Rhodopa Mountains from the two spacious verandas.

Drenkova house has a large garden, artfully decorated in the typical style of the village, as an integral part of it there is a private parking lot for 4-5 cars only for our guests, a summer barbecue, a gazebo and spacious green areas.

The guests are offered an apartment and three double rooms, furnished in an unobtrusive style, completely in tune with the surrounding atmosphere with an en-suite bathroom. The apartment is on the second floor and consists of two rooms – a bedroom and a double room with a shared bathroom. One of the double rooms is located on the first floor and has its own access to one of the verandahs, which offers a wonderful view to the Rhodopa Mountains.

Curiously, the name of the house comes from the name of an old, typical for Kovachevitsa family whose property were several houses in the village. Drenkova house has been built on the site of one of them, and the indestructible rock with an impressive size, which once sustained the old house cannot go unnoticed to this day. Actually we hope that it will give the house at least 100 years of life!
